166 Hughes Hoes

We think some context is needed for the roomies and how we got to where we are. So let's learn a little bit about us! We all met freshman year at Canisius, before the dreaded pandemic hit. Here's the family tree breakdown of friendships formed and bonds made: 2013 Hannah, Julia, and Annie become friends in 7th grade at St. Amelia's 2019 Hannah rooms with Lanie on Bosch 6 Julia rooms with Sam on Frisch 6 Annie rooms with Caitlin on Frisch 6 Hannah and Lanie meet Mackenzie, Treya (roommates), and Bri who are all also living on Bosch 6 (Honors Floor) Hannah bridges the gap... go off queen!  We all meet each other and have a blast at parties  2020 Sophomore year Julia, Sam, and Caitlin live in Dugan (Annie commutes and has a boyfriend, she basically doesn't exist) The three gals live right next door to Mackenzie, Treya, Hannah, and an ROTC queen (not really) in Dugan Lots of dorm hangouts are had with the whole squad... we have a queen as an RA 2021 Move into 166 Hughes!!!!...

Inspired by a certain older sister and her roommates who created a blog for their senior year of college, we've decided to take the reins and make our own blog! We are nine girls who live at 166 Hughes. Hence our name. Four of us are in the lower (Annie, Sam, Caitlin, and Julia) and five of us are in the upper (Hannah, Mackenzie, Treya, Lanie, and Bri). We love our landlord Matt! We can't wait to show you the shenanigans we get up to, despite being a bit late to this whole "blog" thing (lots of Snapchat memories can make up for what we've missed- you'll be seeing lots of those). Since we're seniors, it's kind of a do-whatever-we-want couple of semesters. Talking to new people, cooking some questionable meals, spending way too much time in each other's rooms, and going out on the town even when we don't feel like it. It's quite a rollercoaster, and we can't wait to take you along.  --The roomies
